Warranty / Return / Refund Policy

This policy constitutes an integral part of our Terms of Service. It is not possible to complete any purchase on this website without first acknowledging and agreeing to these terms by selecting the checkbox confirming that you have read, understood, and accepted all associated policies.

Both we as a retailer and you as a consumer are protected and governed by Australian Consumer Law (ACL). We provide a 1-year warranty on MagTag® products.

Important Details:

  • If you return your device under warranty and no fault is evident, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
  • We do not accept returns for change of mind, device incompatibility, or user error, and are not obligated to do so under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
  • If we agree to accept a return of an unopened RST order due to an incorrect shipping address, failure to collect, or a cancelled order after processing, the refund will be issued less all applicable shipping charges (at Australia Post rates) and a warehouse restocking fee of $22.

Please note that the limitations of the product are clearly displayed on our website, www.MagTag.com.au, and form part of the agreed Terms of Service.

Customer is responsible for return packaging and all postage costs. Please note batteries are exempt from our return and refund policy.

Returns
If you have thoroughly reviewed the FAQs, Setup Instructions, and Troubleshooting section but still believe your item is faulty, please lodge your claim on our Customer Support page. If the item is confirmed faulty, we are obligated under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) to offer your choice of a replacement or refund. For items not found to be faulty, they will be returned to you at your expense, after payment of the postage invoice. 

Damaged / Lost / Stolen Goods In Transit
Once your order is handed over to Australia Post, it is no longer under our control. The responsibility for delivery rests solely with Australia Post. In the unfortunate event that your order is lost while in their care, or stolen after delivery, we cannot accept liability for the issue and your enquiry needs to be directed to Australia Post. Your purchase is insured for up to $100.
